Stumbled upon your blog as a result of searching for Finnish poetry in English (it is always interesting to know how a reader came to your blog). I have enjoyed looking at posts under your various tabs. When I read this one I decided to let you know that I appreciated your thoughtfulness in weighing the nuances of the different parties. I am a lifelong Democrat and extremely worried about the 2012 election landscape. I will again volunteer for Obama here in Oregon, and sent a healthy donation today after seeing Rick Perry’s announcement speech.

Thanks for the information. I'm looking at schools with distance MBA programs and am highly considering Thunderbird at this time. I actually went to CSU for a semester and then transferred to ASU both schools have good programs, but I want to go to a more specialized school for my MBA.

I listed three possible answers to the question of whether one could see Russia from Alaska. Thank you for confirming item number 3 in the posting.

If the Russian coast can be seen from mainland villages, is the viewpoint on a mountain or high hill? I’ve read that 53 miles separates the land masses at the nearest point and that the curvature of the earth would make such a view impossible.
