St. Patrick’s Day in Your Town

Sunday, March 12th, 2006

St. Patrick’s day is closing in quickly! If you haven’t yet purchased your greeting cards, gifts and celebratory paraphernalia, maybe you don’t need to. The day is neither about blarney, bangers, or beer of the green variety. The day honors the memory of the captured Scot who spent six years in slavery before fleeing abroad for religious training, afterwhich he became instrumental in the conversion of Ireland to Christianity.

Perhaps a better way to honor the day would be to hold evangelistic meetings, or, just share the good news about Jesus Christ with someone that does not know Him!
